Philosophy

The library media center is the instructional center of the school and a vital part of the total educational program. Through the collaborative efforts of the instructional team, the library media center should be organized and operated so that it effectively serves as a media, learning, and research center for the school and community.

The library media center makes possible opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to gain knowledge and skill in the effective use of a variety of media.  Through the continuous acquisition of media and equipment, the library media center strives to meet the needs of the individual students, the educational program, the professional staff, and the community.
